Gather Against Fate is the Free Company established for the FFXIV NeoGAF community on Ultros! NeoGAF is a well known gaming community with members from all over the world. We participate in all functions of the game including dungeons, raids, end game, role playing, and more. Mumble voice communication is available and encouraged but not required. More information is available for registered members in the forums.
While not censored, GAF still aims to promote a safe, positive, friendly, and fun atmosphere for our members. Poor behavior will not be tolerated! Please review our member policy before applying.

All historical membership information is retained. 3. Enter your full character name in the 'Display Name' field

FREE COMPANY MEMBER POLICY

II. EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Free Company members will not communicate information which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, or invasive of a person's privacy. Any such behavior directed at another member of the Free Company is grounds for removal. Everyone should be treated with courtesy and respect.
Sexual, racial, or ethnic slurs will not be tolerated in any form and will be grounds for immediate dismissal from the Free Company.
ADDENDUM I: BOTTING/EXPLOITS
This Free Company has a zero tolerance policy against cheating. If you engage in any activities that are considered cheating or in breech of the Square Enix EULA/TOS, you will be dismissed from the Free Company without warning.

The items in the Free Company chest are donations to help people. Items are not donated to help people get rich off the generosity of our members. While we've let people off with a warning in the past, the continued abuse of the Free Company chest and thievery may result in demotions or dismissal from the Free Company depending on the severity of the action.
III. DISMISSAL POLICY
We will address issues and grievances on a one-on-one basis. Please report any grievances to our officers. You can send us a private message through the site or talk to us privately in Mumble or in-game. We can't always be online to monitor everything that happens so please keep in mind that you may need to submit evidence or provide names of additional witnesses for action to be taken against another member.
WARNINGS
Typically, a warning will be issued depending on the severity of the problem. Warnings and offending users will be tracked by Free Company leadership. We will try our best to work out these grievances but repeat offenders may be demoted or dismissed permanently from the Free Company and banned from our Mumble server and website.
